很高興在和平共處五項(xiàng)原則發(fā)表70周年之際，同來自五洲四海的朋友們共同出席紀(jì)念大會。我在其中看到很多熟悉的面孔，大家都是中國人民的老朋友，也都是和平共處五項(xiàng)原則提出和踐行的親歷者、參與者、貢獻(xiàn)者。首先，對各位的到來表示熱烈的歡迎，致以誠摯的謝意。
As we mark the 70th Anniversary of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, I am delighted to join friends from across the world in the commemorative conference. I see so many familiar faces. You are all old friends of the Chinese people. You have witnessed, participated in and contributed to the formulation and practice of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. Let me start by extending to all of you a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude.
今天上午，習(xí)近平主席在紀(jì)念大會上發(fā)表了重要講話，全面闡釋了和平共處五項(xiàng)原則的精神內(nèi)涵和時(shí)代價(jià)值，在世界百年變局中指明了構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體的前進(jìn)方向，發(fā)出了“全球南方”同世界各國人民共創(chuàng)美好未來的時(shí)代強(qiáng)音。這一講話對于我們汲取和平共處五項(xiàng)原則的歷史智慧，匯聚解決當(dāng)今世界難題挑戰(zhàn)的共識合力，具有十分重要而深遠(yuǎn)的意義。
This morning, President Xi Jinping addressed the commemorative conference with important remarks. He expounded on the essence of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and their relevance for our times, pointed the direction for building a community with a shared future for mankind amid major global transformation, and voiced a strong message of the Global South to work with people around the world for a better future. The remarks are of profound and far-reaching significance, as we draw on the historical wisdom of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, and build consensus and form synergy for tackling the tough challenges the world faces today.
縱觀歷史，當(dāng)年中國領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人攜手印緬共同倡導(dǎo)和平共處五項(xiàng)原則，順應(yīng)了亞非拉民族獨(dú)立解放運(yùn)動的潮流，為如何處理國與國關(guān)系這一重大命題給出了正確答案。在當(dāng)今歷史轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)頭，習(xí)近平主席立足國與國命運(yùn)交織、休戚與共的現(xiàn)實(shí)，著眼世界各國人民的共同和根本利益，提出構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體重大理念，為“建設(shè)一個什么樣的世界、如何建設(shè)這個世界”給出了新的答案，這是新形勢下對和平共處五項(xiàng)原則最好的傳承、弘揚(yáng)和升華。正像習(xí)近平主席所說，歷史接力就是這樣一棒接著一棒向前奔跑，人類進(jìn)步事業(yè)就是這樣在對時(shí)代之問的回答中一程接著一程向前邁進(jìn)。
Decades ago, the Chinese leadership together with India and Myanmar, advocated the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. It conformed to the trend for national independence and liberation in Asia, Africa and Latin America, and answered the very important question of how to handle state-to-state relations. Today, we have come to a new historical juncture. With the intertwined destinies of countries and the shared and fundamental interests of all peoples in mind, President Xi Jinping put forward the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind, providing a new answer to what kind of world to build and how to build it. This is the best way to inherit, advance and enrich the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence under new circumstances. As President Xi Jinping puts it, the baton of history is passed from generation to generation, and the cause of human progress moves forward from one era to another as mankind seek answers to the questions of the times.
從和平共處五項(xiàng)原則到構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體，一以貫之的是對國與國關(guān)系的創(chuàng)新探索。70年前，中國同兄弟的發(fā)展中國家一起，以尊重主權(quán)摒棄強(qiáng)權(quán)霸道，以平等互利超越叢林法則，鑄就了國家不論大小強(qiáng)弱、不分東方西方，都應(yīng)當(dāng)相互尊重、平等相待的國際關(guān)系準(zhǔn)則?，F(xiàn)在，共同挑戰(zhàn)、共同利益、共同責(zé)任已經(jīng)把各國的前途命運(yùn)更加緊密地聯(lián)系在一起，時(shí)代要求我們在和平共處基礎(chǔ)上和合共生，構(gòu)建以合作共贏為核心的新型國際關(guān)系，實(shí)現(xiàn)向彼此成就、同球共濟(jì)的歷史跨越。
From the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence to building a community with a shared future for mankind, we have remained consistent in the exploration for new ways of state-to-state relations. Seventy years ago, China and other brotherly developing countries rejected power politics and hegemonism by upholding respect for sovereignty; we transcended the law of the jungle by pursuing equality and mutual benefit; and together we forged the norms of international relations where countries, Eastern or Western, regardless of their size or strength, must respect each other and treat each other as equals. Seventy years on, common challenges, interests and responsibilities have linked the future of all countries more closely together. It has fallen upon us to pursue harmony on the basis of peaceful coexistence, and to build a new type of international relations with win-win cooperation at the core. This is how we can take a historical step forward to helping each other succeed and working together for this one and only planet Earth where our shared future depends.
從和平共處五項(xiàng)原則到構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體，矢志不渝的是對世界和平與發(fā)展的擔(dān)當(dāng)盡責(zé)。70年前，世界上熱愛和平的人民汲取熱戰(zhàn)教訓(xùn)，沖破冷戰(zhàn)陰云，奮起抵抗外來侵略壓迫干涉，堅(jiān)持以和平方式解決爭端，在和平共處五項(xiàng)原則指引下促進(jìn)了世界的和平與發(fā)展事業(yè)。當(dāng)前，面對團(tuán)結(jié)合作還是分裂對抗、互利共贏還是零和博弈、共同安全還是動蕩戰(zhàn)亂的重要抉擇，中方愿同各方一起，本著對歷史、對人民負(fù)責(zé)的態(tài)度，攜手建設(shè)持久和平、普遍安全、共同繁榮、開放包容、清潔美麗的世界，落實(shí)全球發(fā)展、安全、文明三大倡議，高舉人類命運(yùn)共同體旗幟，實(shí)現(xiàn)向建設(shè)人類共同家園的歷史跨越。
From the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence to building a community with a shared future for mankind, we have remained committed to our responsibility in upholding world peace and development. Seventy years ago, peace-loving people from different parts of the world drew on the lessons of hot wars, defied the shadows of the Cold War, rose in resistance against external aggression, suppression and interference, and stood by peaceful means of dispute resolution. The Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence offered them guidance in promoting world peace and development. Seventy years on, the world is faced with critical choices of unity and cooperation versus division and confrontation, mutual benefit versus zero-sum game, and common security versus turbulence and warfare. China has been ready to work with all sides to honor our responsibility for history and for the people to build an open, inclusive, clean and beautiful world of lasting peace, universal security and shared prosperity, implement the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative, hold high the banner of building a community with a shared future for mankind, and take a historical step forward to building a common homeland for humanity.
從和平共處五項(xiàng)原則到構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體，歷久彌堅(jiān)的是對公正合理國際秩序的不懈追求。70年來，和平共處五項(xiàng)原則從國家間共識成為國際法原則，從規(guī)范國與國關(guān)系上升為構(gòu)建國際政治經(jīng)濟(jì)秩序的重要遵循，壯大了人類社會正義和進(jìn)步力量。70年后的今天，和平共處五項(xiàng)原則不能削弱、只能加強(qiáng)，多邊主義不容動搖、必須堅(jiān)守，國際關(guān)系民主化不能倒退、唯有前進(jìn)，這就要求我們胸懷人類前途命運(yùn)，倡導(dǎo)平等有序的世界多極化、普惠包容的經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化，實(shí)現(xiàn)向共商共建共享全球治理的歷史跨越。
From the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence to building a community with a shared future for mankind, we have remained steadfast in pursuing a just and equitable international order. Over the past seven decades, the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence have grown from an international consensus to a principle in international law, and from a norm in state-to-state relations to an important guideline for the international political and economic order, a development that amplifies the force for justice and progress of humanity. Seventy years on, the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence must be strengthened, not weakened; multilateralism must be upheld, not undermined; and the process toward greater democracy in international relations must move forward, not backward. For all that to happen, we must keep the future of humanity in mind, promote an equal and orderly multipolar world and a universally beneficial and inclusive economic globalization, and take a historical step forward to conducting global governance featuring extensive consultation and joint contribution for shared benefit.
日就月將，跬步千里?；厥走^去，我們共同見證了和平共處五項(xiàng)原則從雙邊走向多邊，從亞洲走向世界。面向未來，構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體的偉大事業(yè)離不開世界上一切進(jìn)步力量的支持參與，需要“全球南方”挺立在歷史潮流前沿。我們要落實(shí)好習(xí)近平主席提出的“全球南方”開放包容合作倡議，共同做維護(hù)和平的穩(wěn)定力量、開放發(fā)展的中堅(jiān)力量、全球治理的建設(shè)力量、文明互鑒的促進(jìn)力量，為加強(qiáng)南南合作、促進(jìn)南北合作、推動人類進(jìn)步作出新的貢獻(xiàn)。
Daily gains contribute to monthly progress; small steps add up to a thousand miles. Over the decades, we have witnessed the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence expanding from bilateral to multilateral, from Asia to the world. Going forward, the great cause of building a community with a shared future for mankind cannot do without the support and participation of all progressive forces in the world; it requires the Global South to stay ahead of the historical trend. As President Xi Jinping proposed, the Global South needs to carry out open and inclusive cooperation. Together, we should be the staunch force for peace. Together, we should be the core driving force for open development. Together, we should be the construction team of global governance. Together, we should be the advocates for exchange among civilizations. We can make new contributions to strengthening South-South cooperation, promoting North-South cooperation, and furthering human progress.
習(xí)近平主席宣布支持“全球南方”合作的八項(xiàng)舉措，展現(xiàn)了中方始終與所有南方國家同呼吸、共命運(yùn)，推動“全球南方”發(fā)展振興的堅(jiān)定決心。中方將同各方一道積極落實(shí)，為“全球南方”的共同發(fā)展和團(tuán)結(jié)合作注入更強(qiáng)勁動力。
The eight measures in support of Global South cooperation unveiled by President Xi Jinping speak to China’s unwavering commitment to standing with all countries of the South through thick and thin and advancing the development and vitalization of the Global South. China will work with all sides to deliver on these measures and give a stronger boost to the common development, unity and cooperation of the Global South.

踐行和平共處五項(xiàng)原則沒有完成時(shí)，構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體正在進(jìn)行中。中國愿同各國一道，加強(qiáng)團(tuán)結(jié)合作、增進(jìn)溝通理解，共迎全球挑戰(zhàn)、共建美好世界。
The implementation of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence is an ongoing process. So is the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. China stands ready to work with all countries through greater unity, cooperation, communication and understanding to meet global challenges and build a beautiful world together.
讓我們以相互尊重夯實(shí)友好合作的根基。堅(jiān)持各國主權(quán)平等，反對以大欺小、以強(qiáng)凌弱。各國都應(yīng)在多極體系中找到自己的位置、發(fā)揮應(yīng)有的作用。中國堅(jiān)持走和平發(fā)展的人間正道，反對搞陣營化“小圈子”分裂世界。
Let us cement the foundation of friendship and cooperation with mutual respect. It is important to uphold the sovereign equality of all countries and oppose the big and strong bullying the small and weak. All countries need to find their place and play their role in the multipolar system. China will stay on the right path of peaceful development and reject attempts to divide the world by forming camps or small blocs.
讓我們以共建共享打造普遍安全的格局。秉持共同、綜合、合作、可持續(xù)的安全觀，堅(jiān)持以對話解爭端，以協(xié)商化分歧，以合作促安全。中國將積極踐行中國特色的熱點(diǎn)問題解決之道，為維護(hù)和平安全發(fā)揮建設(shè)性作用。
Let us foster a pattern of universal security with joint contribution for shared benefit. We need to uphold the vision of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security, and we need to stay committed to settling disputes through dialogue, resolving differences through consultation, and enhancing security through cooperation. On its part, China will follow a distinctly Chinese way of addressing hot spot issues and play a constructive role in safeguarding peace and security.
讓我們以開放合作推動發(fā)展繁榮的熱潮。倡導(dǎo)并推進(jìn)普惠包容的經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化，讓各國人民共享發(fā)展成果。中國將堅(jiān)持?jǐn)U大高水平對外開放，謀劃實(shí)施進(jìn)一步全面深化改革重大舉措，不斷以中國式現(xiàn)代化新發(fā)展為世界現(xiàn)代化提供新機(jī)遇。
Let us promote a wave of development and prosperity with opening up and cooperation. We need to stand for and advance a universally beneficial economic globalization, so that people around the world can share in the benefits of development. China will expand high-standard opening up, roll out major measures to further deepen reforms in all respects, and provide global modernization with more opportunities through new progress in Chinese modernization.
讓我們以包容互鑒拓展人類文明的畫卷。推動不同文明平等對話、交流互鑒，促進(jìn)各國人民相知相親，讓全人類共同價(jià)值真正成為各國人民共同接受并普遍踐行的國際共識。
Let us open up new vistas for human civilization with inclusiveness and mutual learning. We need to encourage equal-footed dialogue, exchange and mutual learning among civilizations, enhance understanding and affinity among people of all countries, and make humanity’s common values a truly international consensus accepted and followed by all.
讓我們以公道正義引領(lǐng)全球治理的未來。堅(jiān)持真正的多邊主義，維護(hù)聯(lián)合國權(quán)威和作用，秉持共商共建共享的全球治理觀，持續(xù)提升發(fā)展中國家代表性和發(fā)言權(quán)。支持聯(lián)合國未來峰會達(dá)成順應(yīng)時(shí)代潮流的“未來契約”。
Let us steer the future of global governance with fairness and justice. We need to uphold true multilateralism, defend the authority and role of the United Nations, follow the vision of global governance featuring extensive consultation and joint contribution for shared benefit, and continue to increase the representation and voice of the developing countries. We need to support the Summit of the Future in adopting a Pact for the Future that reflects the trend of our times.
