立夏時(shí)節(jié),梅子的酸澀還留在牙齒上,芭蕉的樹(shù)影映著窗紗。
At the beginning of summer, the poet could still sense the sourness of plums left in his mouth and saw the banana leaves casting shadows on the window.
午睡醒來(lái),百無(wú)聊賴,詩(shī)人起身看孩子們?cè)谕ピ豪镒搅ā?/span>
Waking up from a nap, the poet had nothing else to do but rise to watch the children catching catkins in the courtyard.
柳絮飛來(lái)飛去,孩子們歡聲笑語(yǔ),詩(shī)人的童心也被喚起。
As the catkins flew around, the children played and laughed, arousing the poet’s childhood memories.

Plums leave their tartness, weakening my teeth;
Banana fronds lend their green to my gauze window.
On a long day I rise listless from my nap;
Idly I watch children catch willow catkins.
